The C922 marks the final Barrel Proof release from Elijah Craig in 2022, underscoring the effort it takes to procure such exceptional bottlings. Demand for these bottles is sky-high, with strict limits at the distillery, allowing only one bottle per person on release day, often selling out within hours. Attempts to circumvent this are thwarted by license scanning, ensuring fairness until the next month's release.

Clocking in at 128.4 proof, this Bourbon opens with a quintessential profile of brown sugar, oak, a hint of cinnamon powder, touch of rye spice, and faint baking spice on the nose, embodying classic Bourbon scents. On the palate, expect notes of brown sugar, rye spice, aged oak, cinnamon spice, and bold heat. The finish delivers a harmonious blend of cinnamon, rye spice, a hint of aged oak, touch of leather, and lingering heat.
