Within five years, he'd opened his own luxury tequila distillery – the rest is history. The iconic shorter Don Julio tequila bottle is much more than branding: taller tequila bottles were traditionally placed under tables, and Don Julio wanted a bottle that could could be easily shared and passed around. Fast forward to today and we are still enjoying boozy nights sharing tequila across tables and bar tops.
